Title: National Solidarity against Sexual Exploitation of Women – February Activities Update

In February, the 21st regular assembly of the National Solidarity against Sexual Exploitation of Women took place over one night and two days. Approximately 160 activists from 13 member organizations nationwide gathered for a fervent time of solidarity.

On the first day of the assembly, participants attended a lecture titled “Backlash and Responses in Women’s Movements” by Kim Min-moon, the representative of the Women’s Organization Alliance, followed by a presentation by Lee Ha-young, the representative of the National Solidarity, on “Challenges Facing the Anti-Prostitution Movement in Confronting the Prostitution Society.” It was a crucial moment for contemplating the reality of our society and the tasks of our movement.

On the second day, the assembly proceeded with the presentation and evaluation of the coalition’s activities in 2023, as well as the sharing of plans for the year 2024.

As the National Solidarity marks its 20th anniversary in 2024, please continue to support the coalition’s determined activities for the year ahead!
